Karen Taber has been in the leather business for over thirty-five years. Jess has been working under her mother for ten. And recently, Stacy Mosketti has joined in this business full time. She has been working at KT Leather Designs for five years now.


Our goal is to make functional and durable leather goods for our customers.



Ms. Taber designed and created all of the products you see. The process starts by using Plexiglas patterns, and then the top-grain cowhide is hand cut with an Olfa knife. The belts are hand cut, hand edged, dyed, and waxed to a luster. The most difficult part of our work is to find top quality leather at an affordable price. We use nylon thread and use solid brass hardware. All of the processes is dispersed between the woman.



Unique Texture Leather



We have a textured leather made to our specifications, multi color. There is only one guy, Tom, that will make this leather for them. It takes about a year and a half to make a batch. This leather is heat embossed and then dyed with hand rubbed metallic dyes to highlight the textured design. This leather wears like iron and is maintenance free.



Long Lasting


Customers are amazed at how long our leather goods last. A woman even carried one of our purses for 25 years until she saw us again to purchase a new one. These are the kind of customers KT Leather Designs thrives on!
